"I cringe nearly every time I see something I’ve made. I don’t exactly know why. It’s as if I’m letting the general public read love notes I wrote in the 6th grade. I much prefer the process. I love talking about the process of making something, but the end product has me second guessing everything I did or should have done. Standing for something is really hard, too many people in this industry get by just hating everything as if hating something is an idea. Standing for something is ultimately harder and more courageous. I think when I see my work on screen it’s that I stood for something and I find that somewhat risky."
